Clara Belle (Henderson) House

Clara Belle (Henderson) House, 89, of Circleville, passed away peacefully on March 7, 2024 at her residence with her daughter by her side.  She was born on April 22, 1934, in Adelphi, the daughter of the late Richard and Frances (Jinks) Henderson.  On July 26, 1952, she was united in marriage with her loving husband, Andrew J. House, who preceded her in death on July 2, 1991.

Clara is survived by her beloved daughter, Deborah (Dana) Steele, of Circleville; siblings, Marguerite Riddle, of Chillicothe, and Cheryl Hurlbut, of Ormond Beach, Florida; special childhood friend from Prattsville, (McArthur) Ohio, Eva LeMay; and numerous other special family members and friends whom she cherished.

In addition to her parents and husband, Clara was preceded in death by her son, Terry Brent House; step-father, Lloyd Dille; and siblings, Katherine Marie Ream, Donna Jean Brown, Kenny Dille, and Karen Dille. Clara loved decorating, crafts, and creating new ideas. The family would like to send a special thanks to Heartland Hospice for their support and care during Clara's final days.

Private graveside services have taken place at Green Summit Cemetery, Adelphi, officiated by Rev. Teresa Seymour. Services have been entrusted to the HILL FUNERAL HOME, Kingston. Memorial contributions may be made in Clara's honor to the American Cancer Society (P.O. Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD 21741).
