Charlotte May (Ross) Clary

Charlotte May (Ross) Clary, 79, of Laurelville, passed away peacefully on December 16, 2020 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born on July 1, 1941, in Laurelville, the daughter of the late Hobert and Opal (McDonald) Ross. In 1958, she united in marriage with her loving husband, Otis L. Clary Jr., who survives.

Charlotte is also survived by her son, Mike Clary; step-son, Brandon (Ashley) Clary; foster children, Charles (Andrea) Reed, and Rhonda Reed; grandchildren, Mike (Shannon) Clary, Mindy Clary Hines, and Tia (Cori) Jones; great-grandchildren, Chelsy (Steve) Withrow, Clayton Clary, Colton Phillips, Dylan Hines, Caidence, Alyric, and Kysyn Jones, and Alissia Reed; great-great-grandchild, Peyton Marie Withrow; siblings, Lundy (Sharon) Ross, David Ross, Danny Ross, Geneva Newman, and Debbie (Teral) Tipton; and numerous other special family members and friends whom she cherished.

In addition to her parents, Charlotte was preceded in death by her son, Christopher Wayne Clary; and brother, Johnny Ross.

Charlotte valued family and caring for others. She sold Avon for over 25 years.

Memorial services will be held on Monday, December 21 at 6:00 p.m. at the Pleasant Hill Community Church (15290 OH-327, Laurelville, OH 43135). The family will receive friends on Monday from 5:00 p.m. until the time of the service at the church. Burial will take place in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Laurelville at a later date.
