Charles Hugh Gregory

Charles Hugh Gregory, 74, of Amanda, died Saturday, October 22, 2016 at Mt. Carmel West Hospital in Columbus. He was born on May 1, 1942 in Otway, son of Paul and Katherine Gregory. Charles worked for UPS for more than 20 years, and retired from Mid-State Power of Lancaster, OH. He was well known around the area for his expertise in repairing agricultural equipment.

He married Carol "Sue" Gregory on December 31, 1964. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his mother, Katherine Gregory; daughter, Rita (Jerry) Hoffman; son, David (Heather) Gregory; grandchildren, Jeremy and Justin Hoffman; and Autumn and Collin Gregory; his sister, Wanda Kay Chandler and brother, Robert (Mary Ann) Gregory, and several treasured nieces and nephews.

Charles was preceded in death by his father, Paul Gregory.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 26 at 11:00 a.m. at the HILL FUNERAL HOME, Kingston. Burial will follow in the Tarlton Cemetery. Friends may call at Hill's on Tuesday from 4 - 7 p.m. Condolences can be made on Charles' online guest registry at www.hillfhkingston.com .
