IN LOVING MEMORY OF

Bridenbaugh
November 28, 1930 – January 16, 2016
Charles Russell Bridenbaugh
Charles Russell Bridenbaugh, 85, of Chillicothe, passed away on January 16, 2016 at his residence surrounded by his family after an extended illness. He was born November 28, 1930 to Billie and Leona Bridenbaugh. He married Arpine Doles on June 26, 1953, who survives.
He is survived by son Terry R. Bridenbaugh (wife Amy), daughter Sabrina (husband Phillip Hamilton), brother Marvin Gene Bridenbaugh (wife Dorothy), and sister Margaret McSwain. He was predeceased by brother Jack Breidenbaugh and sister Betty Bolte.
Charles, better known as Russ, worked in construction for 42 years as a carpenter, superintendent, and project manager. Russ worked on many construction projects from the Ross County Pioneer School to multi-million dollar commercial structures including a high rise. He always gave great attention to his work, even down to the finest detail, to ensure the project was done well. He was quite an outdoorsman and loved fishing from the northern woods of Canada to the foothills of the beautiful Scioto River valley. He and his brother Gene even built a fishing boat. As a child, he always had a dream of someday learning to fly. Some 44 years ago, he did just that, remaining an active private pilot until the last few years due to health. He was a Navy veteran.
Russ was a member of the Chillicothe Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses being baptized on September 30, 1995.
