Cathy "Cate" Elaine (Blevins) Boggs

Cathy "Cate" Elaine (Blevins) Boggs, 72, of Kingston, passed away peacefully on September 26, 2022 at Berger Hospital. She was born on December 24, 1949, in Ashland, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Carl and Edna (Fraley) Blevins.

Cate is survived by her loving husband who she united in marriage with in 1970, John Boggs; brothers, Bud (Peggy) Blevins Jr., Kenny (Wanda) Blevins, and Phillip (Shelia) Blevins; brother-in-law, Ned (Marlene) Boggs; and numerous other special family members and friends whom she cherished.

In addition to her parents, Cate was preceded in death by her sister, Carolyn Poole.

Cate graduated from Chillicothe High School in 1967 and received her Master's Degree in Education from Ohio University. She was a devoted elementary school teacher at Zane Trace Local Schools for 33 years. Teaching was truly her calling and life's work.

There are no services to be held at this time. Cremation has taken place. The family is planning a memorial service at a later time.
