Catherine L. Vickers

Catherine L. Vickers, 76, of Tarlton, passed away on April 10, 2018 at Adena Regional Medical Center following an extended illness surrounded by her loving family. Catherine was born on February 26, 1942, in Circleville, the daughter of the late Amos and Virginia (Kane) Van Fossen. She worked for PPG and retired in 2006 after 26 years of service.

Catherine is survived by her loving children, Steve Carpenter, Karen (Tommy) Clifton, and Darrell Carpenter; grandchildren, Stefanie, Scott, and Naomi Carpenter, Charlotte Carpenter, Ashley Haughn (Jordan Stein), Kaley (Charles) Warner, and Chase (Amber) Van Fossen, Jennifer, Jonah, Rachel, Annie, and Eli Carpenter; eleven great-grandchildren, Shayla, Emily, Ashley, Charley, Chase, Alexandra, Titan, Amaya, Claire, and another on the way; sister and best friend, Rebecca Tatman; brother, David (Antoinette) Van Fossen and numerous nephews and nieces.

In addition to her parents, Catherine was preceded in death by her sister, Nita Rossiter.
