Carvel Daniel Hertenstein

Carvel Daniel Hertenstein, 56, of Chillicothe, passed away unexpectedly on August 30, 2021 at Adena Regional Medical Center. He was born on July 10, 1965, in Chillicothe, the son of the late Carl and Anna (Weaver) Hertenstein. On September 15, 1988, he united in marriage with his loving wife, Faith (Strausbaugh) Hertenstein, who survives.

Carvel is also survived by his sons, Shawn (Katelyn) Hertenstein and Colten (Catie) Hertenstein; grandchildren, Kinzlee, Kierston, Kynna, Karlee, Gauge, Lyra, and Georgia; brother, Clyde (Tina) Hertenstein; niece, Sarah; great-nephew, Hunter; and numerous other special family members and friends whom he cherished.

Carvel was a 1983 graduate of Zane Trace High School and worked at Chillicothe Packaging for many years. The family would like to thank Carvel's home health nurse, Kayleigh Tatman, for her exceptional care.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 4 at 4:00 p.m. at the HILL FUNERAL HOME, Kingston, with Pastor Tony Lambert officiating.
