Obituary

Carolyn Lafaun Sims Carolyn Lafaun Sims, co-founder of Sims Water Service of Kingston went to be with her LORD and savior on December 14, 2013. She was born in Jackson March 1, 1927 to the late Ross and Ruth Ogier. She was preceded in death by her husband William R. Sims of Kingston, brothers Aaron, Arden, and Larry Ogier of Jackson,  sisters Lois Cobb of Detroit MI, and Barbara Sanders of Cleveland. She is survived by her brothers Keith,  of Indianapolis IN, and Marvin Ogier of Jackson. Sister Sharron Comes of Jackson and her two sons Larry of Columbus, Randy Sims of Kingston. Grandchildren Michelle Ramey of Circleville, Jacqueline King of Canal Winchester, Christopher Sims of Virginia Beach VA. Eight great grandchildren Richard and Brittney King, John and Hillary Ramey, Ciara, Brandon, and Lillian Sims, and Jon Milam.  She will be missed by many other family and friends throughout the area. Carolyn loved her LORD and was a long time speaker and lay minister at her church Springbank United Methodist Church in Yellowbud. She operated Sims Water service for over 45 years and was an accomplished and published religious poet. Services for Carolyn will be held December 21 2013, at Springbank United Methodist Church in Yellowbud Ohio at 2:00pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to your favorite charity in the name of Carolyn Sims.
