Carol Ann (Routt) Wertman

Carol Ann (Routt) Wertman, 81, of Chillicothe, passed away on August 2, 2018 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born on January 24, 1937, in Chillicothe, the daughter of the late Merrel and Mary (Stephenson) Routt. She was also preceded in death by her loving husband, Chester Wertman.

She is survived by her son, Frederick (Norene) Routt, of Hillard; grandchildren, Elizabeth Routt, of Grove City, Ricky (Lindsay) Routt, of Iowa, Melissa (Ben) Logan, of Missouri, and Greg Clark, of Hillard; great-grandchildren, Levi, London, Alex, Rylynn, Zoey, Kyleygh, Emma, and Eliana; siblings, Cathy (Richard) Tuttle, of Chillicothe, and Jim (Thea) Routt, of Florida; special nieces and nephews, Katie Tuttle (Sam Grote), Elizabeth (Zach) Taylor, Jason and Jeremy Tuttle, Jenny Routt, all of Chillicothe, and Brian (Paula) Routt, of Florida; great-nephew, Jackson Pickerrell; and dear and close friend, Sheri.

Carol proudly served her country in the U.S. Air Force as an administrative clerk. Carol retired from the Chillicothe VAMC after many years of service as a surgical technician.

A private burial will take place in Forest Cemetery, Circleville, at the family's convenience. There will be no public visitation or services. Arrangements have been entrusted to the HILL FUNERAL HOME, Kingston. Condolences can be made on Carol's online guest registry at www.hillfhkingston.com .
