In Loving Memory of Carlie Ava Moss,

Carlie, beloved granddaughter, sister, daughter, niece, cousin and friend to many, 15 years old, of Kingston, passed away way too soon on May 27, 2024. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Carlie is survived by her grandfather, Brian Moss; grandmother, Karen Mace; mother, Cassie Moss; sister, Caroline; a special brother; great-aunt, Teresa (Charlie) Fout; great uncle, Greg (Brenda) Moss; several close cousins; and aunts and uncles.

Born on April 6, 2009, Carlie was an absolute joy from the second she was born. She grew up very close to her cousins: Paisley Moss, Kale Slaughter, Kayli Brown, Payton Brown and Krenzel Hughes. They spent many days swimming, going camping and just hanging out. Carlie loved her dogs, Izzy and Tucker. Carlie carried a passion for sports throughout her life, especially basketball. She played basketball from the early age of 6 and discovered her love for it. Carlie also played volleyball and soccer. She took immense pride in her identity as an athlete.

Carlie was raised by her maternal grandfather, Brian Moss. From the moment she was born, they had an instant bond.

Above all, Carlie cherished her time with family and friends. She was a loving girl and her kindness, compassion, and unwavering support enriched the lives of those around her. Carlie's memory will forever be treasured by her family members and close friends. She will be remembered for her huge heart, giving nature and love of others. Though Carlie may have left this world, her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her. May she rest in peace, knowing how loved and missed she will be.

Funeral services to celebrate Carlie's life will be held on Sunday, June 2, 2024 at 5:00 p.m. at the HILL FUNERAL HOME, Kingston with Pastor Steve Crum officiating. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the service at Hill's.
