Carl E. Hart

July 19,1932 - October 29,2025

Carl E. Hart, 93, of Laurelville, went home to be with our Lord on October 29, 2025 at Berger Hospital with his loving family beside him. He was born on July 19, 1932, in Laurelville, the son of the late Harley and Martha (McNichols) Hart. On May 5, 1975, he united in marriage with his loving wife of 50 years, Ethel I. (Dillie) Hart, who survives.

He is also survived by his sons, Jim (Vicki) Hart, of Laurelville, Rick (Carol) Hart, of Laurelville, Jerry (Deb) Hart, of Circleville; daughter-in-law, Brenda Dillie, of Laurelville; brother, Melvin (Mable) Hart, of Kingston; 8 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren; several sisters and brothers-in-law; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Floyd, Roy, Ray, Willis, Merle, Harley, and Bob Hart; sister, Mildred Harper; step-son, Johnnie Dillie; and granddaughter, Melissa Dillie; and several nieces and nephews.

He was a member of the Plumbers and Pipe Fitters Union, Unit 577. He was also a longtime member of Saltcreek Community Church. And he was a life long resident of Laurelville and Hocking County, Ohio.

The family would like to sincerely thank and recognize Pastor James Vandagriff for all of his support and spiritual guidance over the years as Carl's longtime pastor and family friend.

Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, November 2, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at the HILL FUNERAL HOME, Kingston with Pastor Rick McNichols officiating. Burial will follow in Green Summit Cemetery, Adelphi.
