Betty J. Davis Betty J. Davis, born Nov. 29, 1922 in Pickaway County to the late Dwight E. and Mary (Lindsey) Lanman passed this life Oct. 3, 2011.  She married Phillip E. Davis on Sept. 2, 1939, who preceded her in Oct. 19, 2005.  She was also predeceased by a son, Jerry E. Davis; sisters, Margaret Weatherly and Gloria Longnecker. She is survived by a son, James E. Davis; brothers, Dwight Jr., Paul and Charles Lanman; sisters, Patsy Ball, Barbara Hoppes and Sandra Steinmeta; grandsons, Gary Lynn (Carla), Bruce Kevin (Angie), James Alan (Sandra) and Shawn Phillip (Andrea) Davis, great grandchildren, Rachel, Sarah, Christopher, Daniel, Kaylee, Niki, Drew, Zachary, Hunter and Taylor; great great grandchildren, Ryan, Grant, Chloe, Kaden and Chase.  Also survived by many dear nieces, nephews, and in-laws who loved her very much and a host of friends. Betty was employed by Berger Hospital in the admission department, later as Medical Record Librarian.  She later worked as assistant Medical Record Librarian at Chillicothe Hospital and assisted her husband and son in their tire business. She has been the President of the Kingston Senior Citizens for several years and 20 year Kingston correspondent for the Circleville Herald. Funeral services will be Saturday 10:00 a.m. at the Hill Funeral Home, Kingston with Rev. Patrick Lanman officiating.  Burial will follow in Forrest cemetery.  Friends may call at Hill's Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Kingston Seniors Citizens.
