Obituary

Bernice Mae (Jones) Roll Bernice Roll, 89, of Kingston, went to be with her Lord and Savior and to be reunited with the love of her life on May 29, 2014.  She was born on March 10, 1925 to the late Herbert and Edna Chester Jones. She was predeceased by her husband of 50 years, Roy E. Roll; sisters, Gertrude Jones and Marjorie Stevens; brother, Merle Miller; and sister-in-laws, Ruby Jones and Orlena Miller. She is survived by a daughter Miriam (Mim) Courtright and her fiancée, Terry E. Whaley, of Kingston; grandson, Aaron Courtright; great-grandchildren, Ryan and Tauri Courtright and Shaina Seaton; a great-great-granddaughter, Lillian Jean Seaton, all of Blue Springs Missouri; and a brother, Herbert Jones Jr., of Circleville.  Also, Seth and Geoffrey Miller whom she cared for many years. Neighbors Melea and Harold Holbrook who did so much to help her.  She is also survived by many wonderful nieces and nephews. She worked at the Mead Paper Mill during WWII and was clerk of the Centralia Board of Education for many years. She was a member of the Hallsville Community Church and the U.M.W. where she held many offices.  She enjoyed being with her church family and many friends. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. at the Hill Funeral Home, Kingston.  Burial will follow at the Hallsville Cemetery. Friends may call at Hill's on Sunday from 4-7 p.m.  An online registry is available at hillfhkingston.com.
