IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Arpine Helen
(Doles) Bridenbaugh
March 30, 1924 – March 22, 2016
Arpine Helen Bridenbaugh
Arpine Helen Bridenbaugh, 91, of Chillicothe, passed away on March 22, 2016, at her residence after an extended illness. She was born on March 30, 1924 to Clarence and Alice (Brooks) Doles in Chillicothe, Ohio. She married Charles Russell Bridenbaugh on June 26, 1953. She is survived by daughter Sabrina (husband Phillip) Hamilton and son Terry (wife Amy) Bridenbaugh. She was predeceased by her parents, sister Ruth Robinson, sister Mildred Vickers, and husband Charles.
Arpine was an excellent example of what it means to be a supportive, loving wife and mother as well as a true, loyal friend. She was a caregiver of her parents and others throughout the years. She shared an amazing love story with her husband that lasted 62 years.
She was definitely a "fashionista" with her bright colors and "Old Hollywood" style jewelry not to mention her love of shoes. She was always in awe of the changing seasons in the majestic region of the Southern Ohio River Valley. This included the spectacular autumn leaves, in all of their brilliance, to the winter wonderland so full of trees covered in icy snow that glistened like diamonds in the sun. Her fascination with the ocean warranted many trips to the sandy beaches along the eastern coastline. She saw humor in simple things such as the personality of cats, which she was partial to, often referring to the family cat as their "grandcat". She will be missed terribly by so many of which the sadness could never be described in words.
Arpine was a member of the Chillicothe Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses being baptized on September 22, 1940.
A memorial service will be conducted at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses located at 137 University Drive in Chillicothe on Sunday, April 3, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. Services are under the direction of the HILL FUNERAL HOME, Kingston. Please direct flowers to the Hill Funeral Home. C ondolences can be made on Arpine's online guest registry at www. hillfhkingston.com.
