Alberta Mae (Sharp) Davis
Alberta Mae (Sharp) Davis, 84, of Amanda, passed away November 2, 2024 at Brown Memorial Home, Circleville. She was born March 12, 1940 and was the daughter of the late Alford V. Sharp and Helen L. (Vanfossen) Sharp. Alberta was a homemaker and wonderful loving mother to her four sons. Alberta enjoyed sewing, cooking and playing the piano. She handmade many quilts that are treasured by many of her friends and family.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father and two brothers, Marvin Sharp and John Sharp. She is survived by her four sons, Gary (Carla) Davis, Bruce (Angela) Davis, Jim (Sandy) Davis and Shawn (Andrea) Davis. She is also survived by her loving sisters, Karen (Larry) Hoffman, Linda Hartley, Terrell (Dave) Edwards; sister-in-law, Jackie Sharp; grandchildren, Rachel (Mathew) Hood, Sarah (Brian) Keirns, Christopher (Brittany) Davis, Niki Roof, Drew Davis, Zachary Davis, Hunter Davis, Daniel (Jessica) Davis, Kaylee (David) Abernethy, and Taylor (Alex) Reid; great-grandchildren, Ryan Hood, Chloe Hood, Grant Hood, Brinlee Keirns, Samuel Davis, Phillip Davis, Kaden Howard, Chase Delong, Avery Roof, Dale Davis, Mabel Abernethy, Ryleigh Reid and Kye Reid. Alberta also had many special nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the staff at Brown Memorial for their many years of loving care provided to Alberta.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 7, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at the HILL FUNERAL HOME, Kingston, with Chaplain Jim Ferrell officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery, Stoutsville. Visitation will be held Wednesday, November 6 from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Hill's.
