Agnes Marie Knell
Agnes Marie Knell, 67, of Chillicothe, woke up in the arms of Jesus Sept. 19, 2014 at her son's home surrounded by family. She was born April 5, 1943 to the late Wes and Thelma Thomas Leasure. She worked in the health care field all her life retiring from Logan Elm Health Care.
On Feb. 25, 1973 , she married Stanley Knell who survives. Also surviving are sons, Marvin (Lisa) of Chillicothe , whom she spend her final days with and Robert of Chillicothe. Her grandchildren who were the light of her life and made her happiest, Dakota (fiancé Ashley), Logan, Zachary and Elizabeth Leasure; great grandson, Aiden; sisters, Iola Bevins, Dorothy Renolds, JoAnn Christman, and Kay Leasure; brothers, Larry, John, Wendell & Danny; many nieces and nephews; and special niece, Dorothy "Big Baby" Smith that could always make her smile. She was also predeceased by sisters, Rose and Dolly; brothers, Earl, Bart, Glen and Donny.
Agnes had a heart of gold, a wonderful mother, sister, grandmother and mother-in-law. She attended Denver Chapel.
Funeral services will be Wednesday 11 a.m. at the Hill Funeral Home, Kingston with Pastor Larry Leasure. Burial in the Greenlawn Cemetery . Friends may call at Hill's Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m.
