Agnes Marie (Gearhart) Streitenberger

Agnes Marie (Gearhart) Streitenberger, 92, of Chillicothe, went to be with our Lord on October 11, 2018 at National Church Residences of Chillicothe. She was born on April 21, 1926, in Kingston, the daughter of the late Virgil and Marie (Evans) Gearhart. On October 25, 1944, she united in marriage with her loving husband, Loyd Streitenberger, who preceded her in death in 2002.

She is survived by her children, Chris Michael Streitenberger and his wife, June, of Lancaster, Jeffrey Lynn Streitenberger and his wife, Sulayne, of Circleville, and Gayle Marie Huff and her husband, John, of Londonderry; daughter-in-law, Sherry Streitenberger, of Circleville; grandchildren, Melissa Glowacki, Mark Streitenberger, Heather Streitenberger, Tiffany White (fiancé, Bryson Morrison), Brandon Huff and Leah Huff; great-grandchildren, Doug Streitenberger, Jacob Glowacki, Morgan Glowacki, Brittnee Streitenberger-Brown, and Chelsey Streitenberger; siblings, Carl Gearhart Sr. and his wife, Pat, and Norma Hotopp; special friend, Sandy (John) Strous, and numerous other special family members and friends whom she cherished.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Joe Streitenberger.

Agnes was a member of the Kingston United Methodist Church, Kingston, and thoroughly enjoyed participating in the church choir. Agnes was also the manager of Harvester Restaurant until she retired and sold Avon for almost 50 years. She graduated from Centralia High School in 1944. Agnes adored her Boston terrier, Riley and feline pal, Snowball. She will be remembered for her love of gardening, reading, spending time with loved ones and hosting special family gatherings.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 16 at 11:00 a.m. at the HILL FUNERAL HOME, Kingston, with Rev. Jammie Wilhelm officiating. Burial will follow in Bethel Cemetery.
