God Bless Kim and her family.  She fought a long and hard fight!  Her obvious caring nature was evident throughout her life.  She loved her family above all else and spent much of her life with and for her sons.  God will be happy to receive her into His arms. He gained another angel.

Kim loved her Son's and Family more than anything. She had a wonderful gift in cooking and sharing. I learned so very much from her in the years I was with Kim's Catering. We banged heads at times, just because we were both hard headed lol, but we had a lot of long talks and many laughs. I still use her cookbooks to this day and will always carry found memories of her and the boys each time I use them..RIP old Friend, and you and Blanche behave yourselves up there in Heaven.

We are so sorry to hear of Kim’s passing but know she isn’t in pain anymore. She fought a hard battle!

I have many memories of Kim. First, she joined us at Kingston Elementary when we were in 6th grade. Then we were at Zane Trace the next year after we consolidated. We graduated HS together. After that, we had children at about the same time. We reconnected when Kell played baseball for Hallsville with our son Corey and Cody and Matt was the manager. Oh what good times we had! What a special person she was and how she loved you boys!!!♥️

The best cook I have ever met and an even nicer lady.  Kim provided my birthday cake every year for as long as I can remember.  It wasn't a traditional cake...it was her cherry cheesecake.  I'm still yet to find anything that comes even close to it.

Kim was known and loved by so many people in Ross County and beyond.  Matt and Kell be very proud as she was a wonderful lady.

Looking at Gazette this morning I was saddened to see that Kim had passed away. Her parents Jack and Blanche Knapp were close friends of my half brother Jack Atkins and his wife Rowena. I first heard of Kim at that time. Later on as an officer of Zane Trace alumni group I worked with Kim on planning catering for alumni dinners. I always enjoyed working with Kim she had a spirit and toughness about her that was contagious. We always enjoyed her catering food and service. When it came to catering I always thought of her. My sympathies and blessings to her family. I will miss her!

I first met Kim when she was in the C. P. Area of Dupont. A hard worker and fine person. Kim would bring in food for us to evaluate before perfecting a recipe or using it catering. It was always delicious.  Later in life when Robin and I would see Kim , it was always a big hug. We will really miss those hugs and seeing Kim.
Rest in Peace Dear Friend.
