Rick became part of our family about 7 1/2 years ago when his beautiful and wonderful daughter Beth married our son Matthew. We didn't know Rick real well, as we mainly got together for most major holidays and special occasions. He was always so friendly and kind, never a bad word to say about anyone and always willing to help whenever he could. He loved his family dearly and seemed to have a special bond with his late Mom Pauline. We played corn hole together, were always competitive and won quite often. We proudly wore our "Old Guys Rule" t-shirts, especially when playing against our much younger opponents. He enjoyed playing Euchre, and we had many friendly games, the last being during our most recent visit about 1 1/2 weeks before he suddenly left us. Our lives will be less fulfilling and less rewarding without Rick. We will always love you dearly and will miss you greatly.
