    Joyce E. Riley, 78, of Chillicothe, passed away on March 29, 2024 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.  She was born on April 20, 1945, in Chillicothe, the daughter of Ronald “Jack” and Violet (Woods) Hurles, who survive. On May 4, 1974, she united in marriage with her loving husband, Craig Riley, who survives.  

    Joyce is also survived by her children, Carrie Herren, Stefanie Riley, Danielle (Mandy) Cade, Brian Trego, and Kevin (Bibie) Trego; grandchildren, Michael Trego, Renee Conrad, Brian Allen Trego, Gregory (Jess) Moore, Corey Moore, Michaela Dennis, Cody Krafthefer, Ricky Jay Rapp, Noah Riley, Sebastian Herren, Luke Trego, Peyton Cade, Collins Cade, and Silvia Riley; sister, Brenda Atwood (Bill Kimberly); mother-in-law, Nancy Riley; sisters-in-law, Missy (Charles) Landrum and Jackie Wallace; faithful canine companions, Tinkerbell and Daisy; and numerous other special family members and friends whom she cherished.

    Joyce was preceded in death by her son, Keith Allen Trego; daughter, Heather Dennis; ex-husband, Keith Trego; and brother, Charles Leach.   

    Joyce was a 1963 graduate of Huntington High School. She loved to travel and especially loved to spend time at the beach. She also enjoyed collecting dolls and was the President of the First Capital Doll Club. She will be greatly missed.

    Graveside services will be held on Friday, April 5, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at the Huntington Township Cemetery, Chillicothe, with Chaplain Devon Davis officiating.
