Anita C. Barnhart

    Anita C. Barnhart, 68, of Chillicothe, passed away on March 1, 2024 at OSU Medical Center, Columbus. She was born on September 11, 1955, in Chillicothe, Ohio. Anita was preceded in death by her parents; son, Shane Michael Nusser; and grandson, Dakota Nusser.

    Anita is survived by her sons, Shawn Nusser, of Chillicothe, and Chad Tuttle, of Wheelersburg; grandchildren, Michael Nusser, Tanner Nusser, Wesley Nusser, Toby Tuttle, Evelyn Tuttle, Riley Malone, and Adrianna Malone; siblings, Gordon Barnhart, of Chillicothe, Richard (Cathy) Tuttle, of Chillicothe, and Pam Proehl, of Frankfort; several special nieces and nephews; and numerous other special family members and friends whom she cherished. 

    She was a graduate of Southeastern High School Class of 1973 and retired from Adena Health System after over 20 years of service. Anita adored spending time with her family and loved traveling to the Smokey Mountains.

    Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. at the HILL FUNERAL HOME, Kingston with Pastor Stephen Ford officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the service at Hill’s. Graveside services will be held on Thursday at 12:00 p.m. at Londonderry Cemetery, Londonderry.
