Charles David Thurston died suddenly from an accidental wound on Saturday night 9/3/2017

He lived 34 yrs & 224 days

B. 1/22/'83 D. 9/3/'17

Eldest Son of Dr. Charles & Therese Thurston of Hallsville, Ohio and survived by them and his younger brother Andrew Martin Thurston and his Grandfather Vinal Dale Thurston of Cranberry Pennsylvania.

He died happy in The Lord. He was a faithful member at Freedom House and was a courageous evangelist to the hopeless. He is now translated from death into life eternal because he believed on the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross for him. He will not return to us but we will go to him and see him because of the power of the blood of Jesus.

A private family graveside service will be held for David. Please check FaceBook for public memorial events.

In lieu of flowers (to which David was always allergic) please donate to Evidences Biblical Institute www.evidences.net Evidences will apply 100% of all donations to a fund dedicated to preservation of his artwork, sculptures and writings for the propagation of the Gospel.

Dr. Thurston and Therese and family,
As the song goes:
God will make a way when there seems to be no way,
He works in ways we cannot see, He will make a way for me.
He will be my guide, hold me closely to His side
With Love and strength for each new day,
He will make a way.
I cannot feel the pain you are feeling but know that I am praying for you and your family. Love and Blessings.

I am very sorry to hear of your loss and extend sincere condolences to the Thurston family. May you find comfort in knowing that God cares deeply for us when we are grieved by the loss of a loved one and he has promised to be close to us when sorrow breaks our hearts (Psalms34:18). We can be confident that he will continue to sustain us during times of sadness as we look forward to an end of death, sorrow, and pain (Revelation 21:3-4)

Theresa and Chuck,
I am without words and incredibly sorry about your son, David. I saw his video about his art and see you both in his expressions. He was very talented just like you both. I wish I could have met him.
Please realize I will be praying for you and your family healing in these difficult times.
